Abstract

We are very used to noise in the development of our activities that we do not give importance to the hearing damage that this can cause us. Due to the relevance of this situation in the present investigation, we set out to determine the dose of noise to which the students of the San Vicente school (Valparaíso) are exposed and in this way have data that allow us to verify the levels of noise pollution to which the students are exposed. students. The methodology used to carry out the measurements was based on a MINSAL measurement guide. The daily noise dose to which the students are subjected is less than 1. This way it can be indicated that the students are not within noise values considered dangerous according to national standards. The information was used to create a noise map with the purpose of creating future mitigation measures in the areas with higher levels.
