Abstract
It’s exposed the Petrel Wetland’s importance, Pichilemu, as an important point of bird’s biodiversity, contextualizing the development of a sustainable tourism. Carrying out an estimation of the birdlife’s diversity, through biweekly monitorings by the course of a year, determining 2 diversity index (Simpson and Shannon - Weaver), obtained for these index 0.97 y 2.97, respectively. Besides, there were registered a total of 91 species (72 residents and 19 migratory), standing out 9 species with conservation problems.
