Abstract
During 2016 a school scientific research was executed. The objective is to know the biodiversity of species that constitute the coastal áreas of Puerto Natales. It was chose the beach located at the Easter entrance of Canal Señoret, which conects Golfo Almirante Montt by the South and the Seno de Ultima Esperanza at 51°45´38” South latitude and 72°29´03” west longitude. Three different sampling were done on June, August and September, each one with 15 study stations respectively.To categorize the abundance and diversity of species starting from the organic residues found on the litoral eight species were identified: Nucula pisum (scallop), Zygochlamys patagonia (Patagonian scallop), Aulacomya atra (lined mussel), Mytilus chilensis (Sea mussels), Peltarion spinosulum (crab), Jassa thurstonni (anphipodo), Bostrychia harveyi (red seaweed), all of them located at superior litoral subzone.
