Abstract
The practice of medicine combines science and technology with the application of knowledge and values. This combination revolves around the doctor-patient interaction, a necessary element so that the doctor’s action can intervene in the patient’s needs. An assessment was carried out that included the analysis of the doctor-patient relationship, medical practice, iatrogenesis and medical ethics, to establish the relationship between these categories. The medical interview is the main tool to obtain a reliable anamnesis, and to establish a solid, lasting and productive doctor-patient relationship; The latter constitutes a fundamental and determining scenario for the adequate expression or not of the rest of the elements that define healthcare practice. In the methodological framework, different doctors were interviewed and the results were then analyzed.
